Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has vowed to appeal a Federal High Court ruling delivered on Thursday that nullified the David Mark-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and his candidacy.
Atiku described the judgment as an attempt to weaken the opposition and frustrate his ambition to contest the 2027 presidential election, according to Punch.
He also questioned why a fresh suit was filed against the Mark-led ADC leadership despite an earlier court decision affirming its legitimacy. He said he would take the matter to a higher court.
