The Department of State Services (DSS) has arraigned Mubarak Abdullahi, popularly known as Sardaunan Samari, in Kaduna over allegations that he circulated a forged letter attributed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and purportedly sent to the US President.
Abdullahi faces three counts bordering on cybercrime and defamation. Reports said he was arrested after he posted the letter on Facebook with the caption, “ATIKU IS COMING.”
Punch newspaper reported that it could not independently verify that the suspect is a supporter of Atiku Abubakar. The case is awaiting the commencement of hearing at the Federal High Court in Kaduna.
