The theme for this year’s General Assembly is “Restoring trust, managing transformation: A United Nations that delivers for all.”

Beyond his main address, the Nigerian leader is expected to participate in several side meetings and summits focusing on climate change, pandemic preparedness frameworks, and West African border security.

Diplomatic sources indicate that Tinubu may also hold a bilateral meeting with United States President Donald Trump on the margins of the assembly, although this meeting has yet to be officially confirmed.
