President Bola Tinubu has directed the immediate arrest of George Nwabueze over allegations that he operated a fake government agency within the premises of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).

The directive followed fresh findings from an investigation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) into alleged fake government agencies and weaknesses in public service procedures.

The President also ordered the immediate suspension of three permanent secretaries in connection with the latest findings from the investigation.
